To All Unit Admin Users
As you may be aware www.unitadmin.co.uk <http://www.unitadmin.co.uk/> is not available, as of midday yesterday. This is
an issue with the Web server hosting the site.
Steps were taken yesterday to
request the Web server company to resolve this, and their 24 hours
Simultaneously work is being
done to copy a snapshot of the system, as of Tuesday 22/6/2010 05:00, to an
alternate test server, to enable at least retrieval of information from the
system. Some functionality may not initially be available, e.g. emailing out,
however we will attempt to minimise this.
The backup server is now available

Please note that this backup
system will not send any automated emails, any communication to your suppliers
needs to be performed outside of the system.
You may also notice that ?strange?
messages may appear at the bottom of web pages, these are inplace
of the ?email? that the system would have sent. Please simply ignore this
information.
Once the system is restored to
working condition by the options above, another bulletin will be sent out like
this. After that, other technical options are planned to be investigated to
prevent this recurring. Note: This is the first significant outage of the
system in 4 years.
